Privacy policy

RuneTopic collects only the information needed to operate accounts, rankings, voting, server-owner tools, security and support.

Information we process

Account details include username, email, password hash, account type, profile settings, sign-in security data and IP address. Server listings include the content, links, media and integration settings submitted by owners. Voting records include server, player name, time, vote source, IP and delivery/claim status.

Payments and stores

Card details are handled by the hosted payment provider and are not stored by RuneTopic. RuneTopic may retain provider transaction identifiers, amounts, status, product, player name, entitlement dates and delivery records for support, fraud prevention and accounting. Store checkout remains disabled while its payment flow is being verified.

APIs, callbacks and logs

We record API request metadata, callback destinations, methods, response codes, limited response text, timings, failures and claim acknowledgements. Server tokens are stored as one-way hashes and are never shown again after generation. Logs redact passwords, credentials and payment secrets.

How data is used

Data is used to operate RuneTopic, rank servers, deliver votes and purchases, prevent duplicate claims and abuse, provide support, enforce rules, secure accounts and meet legal obligations. RuneTopic does not sell personal data.

Sharing and retention

Necessary information may be processed by hosting, email, anti-bot and payment providers. Vote/callback data is sent only to the server selected by the voter and according to that owner's integration settings. Records are retained while needed for platform operation, security, disputes and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information through RuneTopic support. Some fraud, payment, security and legal records may need to be retained. Server owners can rotate API credentials and disable callbacks from their dashboard.
