What is skilling?

This is the start of a wiki article about skilling.. have you heard the term mentioned and wondered what it meant..? Skilling is the action of performing various skills within the world of RuneScape. Players have given the action/skill itself the term skilling. It collectively means a player is performing work/actions toward the skill itself. Wow! Impressive, right?
